The range
of wire tables and stools produced by local craft producer, Willard
Musarurwa of Feeling African, is to be showcased at this year's Salone del
Mobile in Milan, Italy. This is a huge furniture fair, featuring the very
best from all over the world. The range was developed by New York designer,
Steven Burks, as part of the Aid to Artisans programme, and is being
marketed in Italy and Europe by Enrico Basson of Artechnika under the brand
name of 'Tatu - A Design With A Conscience collection of wire indoor/outdoor
modular tables and accessories'. The range includes a coffee table,
breakfast table, side table, matching stools and other accessories, in
vibrant colours such as red, orange, turquoise and white.
