The CCDI promoted its various activities at this much-attended Expo. The standard of Design displayed around
the hall was fantastic, showing improvement every year. The quality of craft and jewellery was particularly outstanding.
The CCDI stand received many visitors and compliments and excellent contacts were made.
Standard Bank, who had sponsored the Picasso and Africa workshop and development of new products by 15 crafters, was thrilled
by the results as well as the display. On a separate stand, the whole range of products developed in the CCDI|Aid-to-Artisans
programme were sold, and these crafters received good orders.

develop products inspired by Picasso, in the same way that Picasso had been inspired by Africa.
